Hello and welcome.

 

My name is Aghogho Unukegwo. I am a Registered Nurse, wife, and mother of 3 beautiful kids. My vision is to inspire you to live your best life yet and to be genuinely happy by embracing a holistic approach to health and wellness that includes lifestyle and nutrition choices.


I firmly believe that by changing our mindset, diet, and way of life, we can alter the trajectory of our lives in a more positive direction. Lifestyle choices such as regular exercise, adequate sleep, stress management, and a balanced diet play crucial roles in our overall well-being. My first encounter with mental illness was when my best friend in high school became mentally ill. The stigma associated with the illness sometimes makes it difficult for those affected to seek the needed help. In addition to addressing mental health issues, incorporating healthy lifestyle practices and a nutritious diet can also have a significant impact on mental well-being.


This blog aims to provide awareness of mental health illnesses and related issues, offer tools and resources that can help anyone who is struggling to get the help they need, and share stories of individuals who have battled mental illness and the coping mechanisms that have helped them, including lifestyle changes and nutrition adjustments.
